"A military EOD (Bomb Technician) operator must earn his basic badge after 10 months of training, followed by a minimum of 3 years in order to earn his senior badge and begin the testing process for Team Leader status. A further 8 years and multiple tests and additional training is required before the EOD technician is considered for the Master Badge."

This day long course is the A to Z for operators and commanders on Shaheed Bombing incidents. History, Mechanics, Delivery Methods, Detection, Search, Response, and Post Incident Operations are covered.

Terrorism Awareness
This course includes the history of VBIED Operations, VBIED detection, Vehicle Search Overview, Blast and Fragmentation Damage, Employment of VBIEDs, and Post Blast Operations.

IED/WMD Awareness for Patrolman Level
Successful anti terrorist operation skills must be incorporated at all levels. Patrolmen on the beat are the "front line" for the nations Homeland Security. This course will equip the Law Enforcement officer with the skills to help identify the signs of a potential IED or IED workshop. IED components, Search, Explosive identification, network operations, and IED workshop examples are taught.

Shaheed Bombing Awareness
This course is a brief version of the larger 8 hour course. It will familiarize students with the history and current trends in Shaheed operations as well as detection methods.

Seaport vulnerability and security
Taught by Navy EOD experts, this course covers the gamut of search and security concerns for modern Intermodal Seaport Operations. From Ships to Rails the course will enable students to evaluate realistic threats, procedures, and response plans. Underwater Search courses are also available, call for details.

Volunteer organizations play a major role in the UK and Israel for response. Unfortunately, many essential contributions are overlooked from American organizations during a terrorist incident. Learn from the British and Israeli sources how a successful integration of volunteer organizations increases security, facilitates response and recovery, and ultimately saves lives.

Light from Darkness; Public Information and Public Affairs after a terrorist incident. *
The Israelis have lived through years of terrorist assaults within their westernized democratic society. A major component of the terrorists weapon is the "fear factor". Students will learn the importance of information, image, and the media and how incident commanders MUST utilize all assets to inform the public responsibly, calm the public, and return to normal as quickly as possible, all without jeopardizing ongoing operations.

Emergency Medical Response to Mass Casualty Incidents *
IED/WMD incidents produce blast trauma on a massive scale. The EMT must be able to effectively diagnose and provide front line treatment for the full array of blast trauma injuries resulting from terrorist incidents. But the training must go beyond the technical and involve the tactical as well. Teams must work together and coordinate efforts in order to provide efficient life saving care. Israeli and former U.S. Army experts will be providing front line experience on the skills and requirements needed.

WMD Terrorism Incident Operations
Incident commanders must have a realistic work plan and understand the variables and consequences of WMD incidents. Students will be given real world lessons learned and table top exercises to incorporate information and decision making operations into a realistic response plan.

Explosive and Explosive Hazards of IEDs and IED workshops
The most common tool of Terrorists is the least understood by American First Responders. Many times the information they are given is dangerously years out of date. From identifying components, recognizing and mitigating the dangers, to running operations in an IED environment, students will be given an in depth look of IEDs and their evolution from the Battlefields of Iraq, to the streets of London, Madrid, and Jerusalem.
